New game plan, happy people! I’m now updating my school blog and my unrelated personal blog through this medium, Pidgin and HelloTxt! That’s the short-form of it; the real meaty technicalities of it? I’m using Pidgin, the Instant Messaging client (similar to MSN Messenger) to sent my chosen status to HelloTxt.com through their bot’s receiving API. That information is then recodified and sent two my two blogs’ receiving APIs on my behalf. Hopefully this is all set up well and good, but I’m keeping my eye out for errors! Also, I’ve set up my wordpress account’s RSS xml feed to link to a web application called “TwitterFeed” – TwitterFeed periodically checks for updates in that feed and then posts in twitter under my account name when I update on my behalf, once again. I love that word: BEHALF! Delicious! I’ve changed my dual micro-blogging bot from HelloTxt to Ping.fm, and I’m updating my Plurk and Twitter through there. Phew. Took a couple minutes work, but I think it’s all making sense!
